Manage subscriptions from the HandyPay mobile app

Subscription management is now available inside HandyPay 3.0.3 on iOS and Android. Create and revisit saved plans, share reusable signup links, and manage customers without switching to the web dashboard.

  • Sort loaded plans by newest, oldest, name, or subscriber count. Newly created plans stay visible while the list refreshes, with HandyPay green and rounded mobile buttons throughout.
  • Open a plan's Customers and payments section to see who is subscribed, search customers, check subscription status, and load older paid invoices.
  • Cancel a subscription immediately or at the end of its billing period, with a confirmation before any change. Cancellation does not refund past payments.
  • Request a refund of an eligible payment's remaining refundable amount, subject to HandyPay review. See amounts already refunded and pending requests. A refund does not cancel future billing.
  • Test Mode keeps plans, customers, and actions separate from live payments. Reopen HandyPay and apply the in-app update to access the new screens.

Corrected subscription revenue reporting

Fixed an accounting issue that could record one subscription payment twice in HandyPay's revenue totals. The verified duplicate entry was corrected without charging or refunding the customer.

  • Subscription payment updates and history refreshes now reuse the same invoice record, including when payment notifications arrive again or in a different order.
  • Related referral-credit checks prevent duplicate accrual from retried subscription events. Merchant proceeds follow the existing fee treatment.

Voting works for newly published roadmap items

Corrected the roadmap voting service so newly published items are recognized. Merchants can support those ideas using the existing voting controls.

More reliable sign-in and security logging

Fixed a sign-in rate-limit issue that could group different customers behind the same server connection. Customer-specific limits now remain independent without relaxing sign-in protection.

  • Email sign-in and verification use verified customer network context, with the same context forwarded for Google and Apple callbacks.
  • Authentication events are recorded more reliably, with duplicate-event protection and privacy-conscious diagnostic details for support investigations.

Stronger checkout safeguards and fraud-review feedback

Released improvements to checkout abuse protection, fraud-review handling, and payment-limit checks. These are incremental safeguards, not a claim that every fraud-prevention enhancement is complete.

  • Checkout risk checks better account for repeated failed attempts and network context, while review outcomes help distinguish confirmed fraud, false positives, and inconclusive cases.
  • Unresolved or adverse fraud reviews prevent automatic allowance increases. Ecommerce checkout now checks the applicable allowance before creating a new payment session, including customer-paid fees and maximum shipping.
  • Rate-limit decisions remain consistent during simultaneous requests, and repeated payment notifications no longer inflate the same fraud observation.
  • Security dependencies were updated, and the portal's API forwarding and operator-feed pagination were improved to reduce buffering and large responses.

Bulk actions across merchant payment tools

Merchants can now select multiple items and complete common actions once across payment links, QR codes, transactions, tips and donations, and subscription plans.

  • Copy or cancel several payment links, and copy or download several QR codes at once.
  • Export or dismiss selected transactions, and export or clear selected tips and donations.
  • Subscription plans now support copying or deleting in bulk. Plans with active subscribers require a clear choice between access through the end of the billing period and confirmed immediate cancellation, while failed items remain selected for an easy retry.

Clearer subscription trials and invoice access

Subscription creation and hosted checkout now make free trials, recurring billing, and account management clearer before a customer confirms.

  • Merchants can set a trial and add their own Terms and Privacy Policy links while HandyPay's recurring billing disclosure remains visible.
  • Customers see the trial length, when paid billing begins, the recurring authorization, and a reminder that HandyPay will email a secure management link.
  • Subscriber details show the next charge and provide invoice viewing or downloads when an invoice is available.

A clearer path from a Pro trial to a paid plan

Pro trial merchants can now see exactly when free access ends and add or update a payment method before expiration to keep their Pro features.

  • Billing settings show the trial end date and days remaining alongside the features that continue with Pro.
  • If a trial ends without an upgrade, merchants can share the reason directly with HandyPay so the plan and onboarding can improve.

Clearer metrics and activity throughout the portal

New explanations and activity markers make it easier to understand business numbers and find the sections that need attention.

  • Definition tooltips now explain revenue, payout balances, average order value, monthly recurring revenue, churn, referral balances, and fundraiser totals where those metrics appear.
  • Unread counts beside portal sections point to new transaction, customer, payout, payment-link, QR-code, subscription, and support activity.
  • The portal's mobile layout, breadcrumbs, pending-payment wording, and persistent Test Mode banner were polished so the current workspace and payment state stay clear.
