Accept crypto payments

Customers can now pay with supported stablecoins through eligible USD checkouts. They choose Crypto at checkout and connect a supported wallet to complete their payment.

  • Crypto appears when the merchant account, payment flow, currency, and customer are eligible. It is not available on every checkout or for every cryptocurrency.
  • This release adds crypto payment acceptance, not crypto payouts. Existing payout currencies, schedules, and account restrictions still apply.

Make checkout your own with the Brand plan

The Brand plan is available for US$5.99 per month. Give customers a more recognizable payment experience with your business name, logo, and brand color on supported checkout pages, receipts, and emails.

  • Upgrade from the merchant portal, then configure your customer-facing branding. Your legal details remain separate for verification and banking.
  • Brand keeps the Free plan's payment-processing rate. Pro includes branding too, alongside its lower processing rate and additional business tools.

Embedded one-time payments with Stripe Elements

Developers can build an embedded payment form using HandyPay PaymentIntents and Stripe's Payment Element, alongside the existing hosted Checkout integration.

  • Test Mode now returns a matching test publishable key. Live and test keys, connected accounts, and payment requests remain separated.
  • Create a payment, retrieve its status, and cancel an eligible unpaid intent through the API. Idempotency keys let integrations safely retry the same creation request after a timeout.
  • Secret API keys stay on your server. Pass payment-specific client secrets only to the intended customer, and confirm payment through verified webhooks before fulfilling an order.
  • This implementation covers one-time payments. Saved-card and recurring billing flows are separate integrations, and payment-method availability remains subject to eligibility.

More reliable subscription webhooks

Improved subscription event routing and delivery for integrations, including Test Mode. Temporary account-matching failures can now be retried instead of silently losing an event.

  • Test events are matched to the merchant's test account and Test Mode endpoints, separately from live customer activity.
  • Duplicate-delivery tracking is scoped to the receiving endpoint, so delivery to one endpoint does not suppress delivery to another.
  • Use an endpoint-specific signing secret, verify the exact raw request body, and make your receiver safe to process repeated event IDs.

See subscribers on API-created plans

Fixed subscriber attribution for subscription plans created through the API. Subscriber counts and customer details now resolve to the correct original plan in the merchant portal.

  • Plan-removal checks also look across the relevant payment accounts before allowing an action that could affect subscribers.
  • These reporting improvements do not merge separate plans, remove published links, or change existing customer billing.

Smoother sign-in and signup retries

Fixed a browser verification issue that could leave another sign-in or signup attempt using an expired or already-used challenge. The fix applies to desktop and mobile browsers.

  • Forms obtain fresh verification after an attempt and prevent duplicate submissions while a request is in progress.
  • If verification expires, stalls, or fails to load, clearer messages and a retry control help you recover without weakening account protection.

Payment links recover from temporary loading errors

Public payment links now retry temporary database-read failures. This helps reduce intermittent loading errors without requiring merchants to replace or resend their links.

More consistent payment-pause checks

Extended account payment-pause checks to new subscription requests, subscription resumes, and billing changes that can create additional charges, including API integrations.

  • Read-only history, refunds, cancellation, and Test Mode remain available under the existing account rules.
  • These checks govern new requests. Previously issued payment authorizations and existing automatic renewals require separate review; pausing new requests does not cancel them.

Manage subscriptions from the HandyPay mobile app

Subscription management is now available inside HandyPay 3.0.3 on iOS and Android. Create and revisit saved plans, share reusable signup links, and manage customers without switching to the web dashboard.

  • Sort loaded plans by newest, oldest, name, or subscriber count. Newly created plans stay visible while the list refreshes, with HandyPay green and rounded mobile buttons throughout.
  • Open a plan's Customers and payments section to see who is subscribed, search customers, check subscription status, and load older paid invoices.
  • Cancel a subscription immediately or at the end of its billing period, with a confirmation before any change. Cancellation does not refund past payments.
  • Request a refund of an eligible payment's remaining refundable amount, subject to HandyPay review. See amounts already refunded and pending requests. A refund does not cancel future billing.
  • Test Mode keeps plans, customers, and actions separate from live payments. Reopen HandyPay and apply the in-app update to access the new screens.

Corrected subscription revenue reporting

Fixed an accounting issue that could record one subscription payment twice in HandyPay's revenue totals. The verified duplicate entry was corrected without charging or refunding the customer.

  • Subscription payment updates and history refreshes now reuse the same invoice record, including when payment notifications arrive again or in a different order.
  • Related referral-credit checks prevent duplicate accrual from retried subscription events. Merchant proceeds follow the existing fee treatment.
